How many members in your family and what are their ages?  Do all members of the family want to get a puppy?  A Basenji Puppy?  Are you familiar with the breed?  Have you visited with any in person?  Preference to Male or Female?

Do you currently own a dog?  What Breed?  Have you had dogs in the past?  If so, what breeds and how long did you have them.  Do you have other pets and if so what kind.  Do you plan on other pets?  If so what kind?

Why are you interested in a Basenji?  Do you know much about the Breed?  Have you visited with any Basenjis in their home?  Do you know about the health concerns in our breed and the health testing that is available that all responsible breeders should be doing before breeding?

Do you own or rent your home/apartment?  If you rent do you have your Landlords approval for a pet?  Do you have a yard?  Is it secure and fully fenced?  How much time will your Basenji spend outdoors?  Where do you intend to keep your Basenji when you are not home?  Will you crate train your Basenji?  Do you plan on a pet sitter or dog walker?
