Maggii was our first owner/handled Champion. She also is an ASFA Field Champion. Maggii finished her championship quite easily, dispite her novice handler. We decided to take a shot at the Breed and Group ring. Maggii loved the show ring and the Group ring even more. In 1995, the year after she whelped her litter of six, she re-entered the speclals ring and was again winning breed and placing in the hound group. In October of 1995, she was Best In Specialty Show at the Basenji Club of Northern California Specialty. Maggii is now 16 1/2 years and continues to show as a Veteran. October 2001 she was Best Veteran in Sweeps. She won the Veteran Bitch Class AND was awarded Best of Opposite. October 2002 she repeated as Best Veteran in Sweeps and AOM for the Veteran Class. Maggii wins Best Veteran in Sweeps at Basenji Fanciers of Greater Phoenix 2-27-03! AND....... She still enjoys "chasing the bunny".........

Kristii was our keeper from the first litter we bred. She became our First Home Bred ASFA Field Champion, First Home Bred Conformation Champion and our Second Dual AKC Champion. Kristii still Lure Courses and gets better every year.

Mickii was our third owner/handled AKC Champion and our First ASFA Field Champion. She excels on the Lure Field (see lure coursing page). In 1996 Mickii presented us with our second home bred litter, two (Fatia and Tego) that went on to excel in the Show Ring and the Lure Field. Mom to Grandkids Jamari and Crystal, both AKC Conformation Champions & Crystal an ASFA Field Champion. Mickii still loves to lure course and sometimes competes in Veteran Classes in the Show ring. However, she is now officially retired from Lure competition......... Mickii is Mom to Fatia and Tego, GranMa to Jamari, Crystal, Tiba, Gioia and Lucy!

Fatia was Tanza Basenjis first home bred Dual Champion. She is also an ASFA Lure Course of Merit. Fatia whelped a litter in November of 2000 (pictures above) and is now living with her daughter, Tiba and Tiba's Mom, Val Woodward in Hacienda Heights..... and enjoying the good life, I might add!
